Barcodes have been in use since June of 1974 and still in use today, being used in inventory tracking, event management, record management, etc. Although ColdFusion comes with many built in features,
one it does not have is creating "Barcodes", and since barcodes are still useful, we added the ability to create barcodes with additional third-party software which of course ColdFusion integrates with. Eleven(11)
different barcodes can be created, with the most common being the Code128 which is an alpha-numeric barcode.
